    A water heater recirculating pump doesn’t heat water. It depends on the water heater to heat the water. A recirculating pump saves running the water till the pipes warm up between the water heater and you faucet or shower head. It will save water though. The amount depends on the amount of water and the cost at your home.

    I have the HBS24-12 Pump Installed. Power hooked to a smart receptacle. When the power is cycled, the pump seems to forget its settings . is this normal.
